The reports below are provided solely for the use of Virginia's franchised new-car & -truck dealers. This information is for reference only and no guarantee is made or implied regarding the accuracy of this information.

All figures reported are actual DMV Registrations based on locality of registration. This data is provided by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and reflects the date DMV processed the registration and not necessarily the date the vehicle was sold.

We recommend that users right-click on the desired report and use the "Save Target As ..." feature on the drop-down menu in order to save the report to their computer.  Please note that the files are in Excel format and you may have to adjust your print settings prior to printing.

Registrations By Locality  

PLEASE NOTE: Reports are NOT based on calendar month, but are four- or five-week reports based on DMV data. This allows a comparison of time periods with the same number of selling days. Please pay careful attention to the dates on the reports.

For example, May is run as a 4-week month: May results typically end on the Friday prior to Memorial Day Weekend. June is run as a 5-week month and includes Memorial Day Weekend sales numbers.
