VADA Welcomes It's New Executive Committee and Newest Board Members!

On November 1, 2008 VADA’s new Executive Committee took office. We also had three new Board Members join the VADA board of Directors.

New VADA 2009 Chairman

Art Hudgins

Art Hudgins is President of Holiday Chevrolet Cadillac in Williamsburg Virginia. Art grew up in the car business and learned the craft from his father. After learning the nuts and bolts from the ground up (including mowing the grass!) Art became a dealer in 1989. Art graduated from the General Motors University of Automotive management, is a Cadillac Master Dealer and has earned the Chevrolet Mark of Excellence award. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors of Towne Bank and served on the Board of the Virginia Air and Space Center. Art has served on the VADA Board since 2003.

David Warren

David Warren is President & Owner of Altavista Motors in Altavista, Virginia. The dealership holds Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, and Jeep franchises. David began his automotive career as a cashier in 1990 and, after working in various positions, purchased his first dealership in 2000. Since his acquisition the dealership has been Ford Blue Oval and Chrysler Five-Star Certified.

A native of Charlotte, NC, he is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College. He is married with two children and resides in Altavista.

Steve Fay

Battlefield Ford, Manassas

District 2

Steve Fay is the owner of Battlefield Ford in Manassas, Battlefield Ford Jeep in Charlottesville, Battlefield Ford Mercury in Culpeper and Battlefield Toyota Chevrolet in Culpeper. His office is in the Battlefield Ford dealership in Manassas.

A graduate of Catholic University, Steve worked with Koons Ford until 1990. He is married with adult children and resides in Arlington.

Ron Ferguson

Mooers Volvo, Richmond

District 8

Ron is the owner and president of Mooers Motor Car Co. in Richmond Virginia. They have two locations: Mooers Volvo and Mooers Volvo in Midlothian. His office is the Mooers Volvo location.

Ron began his career as a Service Advisor and became President of Mooers in 2004. A native of New York, Ron grew up in New Jersey. He now resides in the Richmond area with his wife and teenaged children.

Cathy Stohlman

Stohlman VW Subaru, Vienna

District 1

Cathy is the President, Dealer and Owner of Stohlman VW Subaru in Vienna, Stohlman Subaru of Herndon, and Stohlman Mitsubishi in Vienna. Cathy's office is in the Stohlman VW Subaru dealership.

A native of Washington, DC and graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, Cathy is married with three children aged 6 to 8.
