HR 2743 & S1304 Would Preserve Dealer Rights Under State Franchise Laws! Contact Your Congressional Representative To Ask Their Support For HR 2743, the "Automobile Dealer Economic Rights Restoration Act of 2009" and Contact our Senators to ask their support of S1304!
A bill introduced in Congress, HR 2743, the "Automobile Dealer Economic Rights Restoration Act of 2009" (a.k.a. the MAFFEI-KRATOVIL BILL) and it's Senate Sompanion Bill, S1304, would restore the rights of Chrysler & GM dealers circumvented by the bakruptcy court.
This legislation is important to all dealers, regardless of franchise, as it demonstrates a precedent for the support of dealer rights! We urge all dealers to call your Senators & Congressional Representative to ask their support, and we ask you to encourage all of your employees to call as well.
Call & Email our Senators to ask them to Support S1304 and ask your Congressional Representative to Support HR2743, the "Automobile Dealer Economic Rights Restoration Act of 2009" or Maffei-Kratovil Bill!
